MediaCorp reprises Project Hope to raise funds for victims of the Indonesian disasters
MediaCorp will produce a second Project Hope humanitarian special to raise funds for the victims of the Mentawai tsunami and the Mount Merapi volcanic eruption. The show will be telecast ‘live’ on Friday, 19 November 2010 from 8:30 to 10:30pm over Suria and Channel NewsAsia International, and streamed ‘live’ on www.channelnewsasia.com/live.
Project Hope is supported by the SMART Alliance, a grouping of ASEAN broadcasters, and this year’s special will feature performers from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia (kindly refer to annex for more details), and will be hosted by Khairudin Saharom and Otelli Edwards. This year’s show will be beamed to a regional audience with its ‘live’ broadcast over Channel NewsAsia.
All donations will be channelled to Singapore Red Cross and Mercy Relief. MediaCorp will underwrite the full cost of production.

*Administrative fee of $0.21 (inclusive of GST) chargeable for each call. Callers below 18 years old must seek parental consent.
Individuals and corporations who wish to donate more than $100 can call in during the ‘live’ show to a special number that will be manned by 30 MediaCorp television artistes and radio personalities.

It will also be streamed ‘live’ on www.channelnewsasia.com/live, and available on catch-up at www.xinmsn.com/catchup. The encore telecast will be on Sunday 28 November 2010 on Suria from 2pm to 4pm.
